What to expect
No runaround. Here is exactly how it works.
Step 1 — You apply. Fill out the form below. Takes about 5 minutes. Resume is required. References help but you can add them later.
Step 2 — We respond within 24 hours. Not 2 weeks. Not a form auto-reply. A real person reviews your application and follows up by phone or email within 1 business day.
Step 3 — Short intro call. 15–20 minutes. We ask about your experience, availability, and which communities you can serve. No trick questions. No lengthy panel interview just to discuss your schedule.
Step 4 — Paid orientation and placement. Orientation is paid. Care plans are clear. Your coordinator is reachable from day one. You will know your schedule before you start.

Pay
PSW certified roles start at competitive Ontario market rates — exact rate confirmed during your intro call based on experience, role, and location.
Mileage
Rural route mileage is reimbursed. Your drive to clients should not come out of your own pocket. It does not at Aviora.
Scheduling
We build your schedule around your real availability — not just what is convenient for us. Part-time, evenings, overnights, weekends, and flexible arrangements are all available.
Orientation
Paid. Structured. You will not be sent to a client home without knowing exactly what to expect.

Questions before you apply
Not for all roles. PSW certification is required for personal support roles. Companion, overnight, and respite positions are open to experienced caregivers without formal certification. We look at your experience and reliability, not just your paperwork.
